Wonderful video and tips. I use to do mini quilts years ago and just never thought how making an 8 x 10 can help with creating and if it’s not what I expected then not much fabric loss and move onto the next. Enjoyed all your video’s and took a peak at you on you tube.

    1. Rachel says:

      Glad you enjoyed it!

  11. Pauline Sajeva says:

  12. Renee says:

I decided to use steam a seam for the trees. I ran it through the printer and it worked. My background is not painted. I used a deep pink silk. I made some decisions about borders and ready to work more on this tomorrow.

    1. Rachel says:

Sounds wonderful! Glad it worked! Happy creating!

  13. Sunny says:

    1. Rachel says:

  14. Mary says:

Wow that was fun. I’ve done little pieces before but have always been disappointed with the binding. Your facing technique is exactly what I needed to know. BTW, a quick design board for only a few dollars is a flannel backed tablecloth. That means more money for fabric! I have a smallish room so 2 tablecloths give me an entire wall for designing.

    1. Rachel says:

So glad you found the facing technique helpful! Flannel backed tablecloth is a great idea!
