I’ll take you by the hand and show you how I create, step by step.
“I've been sewing since high school, making clothes and simple home decor items. Rachel's sewing tips and tricks make it easier to plan and finish my projects. I appreciate her patience and knowledge as an instructor as well as her sewing and quilting skills. ”
You will have access to me through a support link so I can help you with specific problems you encounter.
Here are the many items you will learn to sew in these lessons.
Make Up Bag & Make Up Brush Case
These bags are very simple to make and have a rip-stop lining for easy cleaning.
Quilted Front Cross Body Bag
A great basic bag with multiple pockets, web strap and hardware.
Zoe Bag – similar to the Quilted Front Cross Body Bag but with a black canvas bottom and mitered corners so it stands up on its own.
Greta Bag
This is my best selling bag with lots of organization built in.
Pillows – Plain or with Piping
All pillows have a covered zipper on the lower back for easy on and off.
Outdoor cushions
We’ll use outdoor fabrics and all have a covered zipper for easy on and off.
Window Toppers
These are super easy unlined toppers which you can just gather onto a curtain rod and hang.
Sheers
These are super easy, inexpensive and filter visibility but add lots of light.
Lined Full Length Drapes
This is where you can truly express your style and creativity. I chose the Tibet Blue from Magnolia Home Fashions. Love them!
Tailored Curved Window Valances
This tailored style can dress up your room with a minimum of yardage.
Molly & Cassie Dresses
Sewing pretty dresses for girls is just the most fun thing in the world!
Mandy Boat Tee
This is the easiest of knit tees.
Pencil Skirt
This is an easy and comfortable pencil skirt.
Kimono
Silk chiffon feels luxurious in this gradient but you could make it short out of a fun silky print.
Once I got started creating this course I couldn’t stop. I had so much fun making all these home decor and clothing items. I have lots more in the works but thought it might be best to simply offer what I have so far and add more videos later. Lot’s of ideas for fall and winter coming!
If you answer “yes” to any of the above this course will work for you.
Many people spend upwards from $30-$60 per class to learn to sew one item at a local fabric store or sewing machine store.
Many people hunt online for individual courses teaching specific techniques. All these individual courses also cost $30-$60 and they add up. The cost of all the books and magazines you buy add up.
The value of this course, including all videos and downloads is at least $650.
I’m offering the whole course for $127. You get access to the whole course at once.
