“I've been sewing since high school, making clothes and simple home decor items. Rachel gave me the courage and taught me the skills I needed to begin piecing quilts and wall hangings. I recently completed my first free form quilt and began using the long arm to quilt the finished pieces. Rachel's sewing tips and tricks make it easier to plan and finish my projects. I appreciate her patience and knowledge as an instructor as well as her sewing and quilting skills. ”
“Rachel’s Landscape Class is so full of tips, techniques, and tool how-to’s, it’s worth every minute of your time. She is an extremely supportive and inspiring instructor, willingly sharing her expertise. During the live sessions, Rachel welcomed and encouraged students to share their own experiences with products and techniques. While she provides patterns and fabrics for those who want them, Rachel also encourages any student to develop their own design and provides feedback if requested on fabric choices. If you want a safe learning environment with fun classmates and a stimulating teacher, this is it. I look forward to more learning with Rachel Derstine!”
